Gomez's breakout year in the A-League Women's season saw her receive her first call-up to the senior national team at the end of 2024, unfortunately, an MCL injury sustained the day before camp commenced meant that the midfielder would be unable to link up with the team for the first time.

After recovering from her knee injury, Gomez helped guide the Central Coast Mariners to their first-ever Grand Final win during the 2024/25 season, named Player of the Match in the final. This form saw her receive another call-up to the senior national team ahead of a two-match series against Argentina.
