Kerr maintains her third-place ranking from last year, with the striker picking up back-to-back WSL golden boots for Chelsea and claiming her second Women's FA Cup title and her third Women's Super League trophy.

At the international level, Kerr scored 12 goals in green and gold, the most she has ever scored in a calendar year for the CommBank Matildas. At the start of the year, Kerr became Australia's greatest-ever goalscorer, surpassing fellow football legend, Tim Cahill.

This year has been a history-making one for the Perth native on and off the field, her accolades continued to pile up as the season continued with the Aussie claiming the Football Writers’ Association Women’s Footballer of the Year, Women’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year Award and awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for services to football.

The Australian striker was also the first female to adorn the front cover of the global edition of FIFA this year, featuring as the Global Cover Star for Ultimate Edition and the ANZ Standard Edition of FIFA23 this year.
