FC Twente vs Cardiff City FC
Daniela Galic's FC Twente take on Welsh side Cardiff City F.C. in their Round 1 Qualifier. The side from Netherlands will take confidence going into the fixture after claiming the Women’s Super Cup, defeating Ajax 6-1 over the weekend.

Arsenal vs Rangers
Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord and Kyra Cooney-Cross' Arsenal will be looking to avoid a repeat qualifying exit when they kick off their UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying campaign at Meadow Park against Scottish side Rangers.
Arsenal failed to qualify for the group stage last season after being defeated by Paris FC on penalties in the Final of Round 1 Qualifying. Jonas Eidevall will have that result in the back of his mind when his side welcome their home fans for their first fixture of the 2024/25 season at Meadow Park.

Should Arsenal beat Rangers they will take on the winner of Atlético de Madrid and Rosenborg for a place in Round 2 of qualifying. Eidevall has already confirmed his side will be without Beth Mead and Steph Catley going into the fixture, with Mead out with a groin injury and Catley out with a minor issue.
Eidevall will be hoping the new signings of goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar and attackers Rosa Kafaji and Mariona Caldentey will help the Gunners advance to the next stage of qualifying, with Caldentey bringing a wealth of experience in the UWCL with her after claiming the title three times with Barcelona.
