It's a huge weekend of derbies in the A-League Women, with the Central Coast Mariners hosting rivals Newcastle Jets on Saturday before the Sydney Derby finishes the round on Sunday.

Melbourne Victory will hope to continue their momentum from their comprehensive victory last week when they take on Canberra United on Friday evening.
Victory were among the pre-season favourites and have looked sturdy this season without being entirely convincing. A victory against Canberra this weekend would help reinforce their status as one of the strongest sides in the competition, even as they remain in the thrall of somewhat of an injury crisis to start the season.
Two weeks ago, Canberra picked up its first win of the season - but they've looked better than their results suggest. With Michelle Heyman leading the line, Canberra will back themselves to secure an upset in Melbourne and continue their quest to challenge for the top six.

The Newcastle Jets will be out to secure the F3 Derby trophy - a piece of guardrail from the motorway that separates the two cities - when they travel to Gosford on Saturday afternoon.
The Central Coast Mariners have had a poor start to the season, albeit having had to contend with a challenging fixture list. The defending champions will be hoping to get their season back on track in the derby. Isabel Gomez will be available in a boost for the Mariners.
The Jets, meanwhile, have had an incredibly positive start to the season and find themselves in third. They'll back themselves to continue on that trajectory against their biggest rivals. Natasha Prior is expected to line up in the heart of defence for Newcastle.
Melbourne City v Wellington Phoenix

Melbourne City return after their AWCL adventures to take on the Wellington Phoenix on Sunday.
City are heavy favourites to continue their good form in the league and continental football on Sunday. They will be boosted by the likes of Holly McNamara in their front line and Alexia Apostolakis in defence, as well as the return of Karly Roestbakken and internationals Ellie Wilson and Chinaza Uchendu. Bryleeh Henry remains unavailable.
The Wellington Phoenix have never defeated Melbourne City, but will hope the likes of a returning Lucia Leon and Sabitra Bhandari can help them over the line on Sunday.
Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar

Adelaide United clash with Brisbane Roar in a game vital for both teams to prove their title credentials.
Adelaide United had their best-ever season last time out, but have struggled for form this time out. It won't just be the result against Brisbane that will count, but the performance as well. Adriana Taranto will be available for the Reds as part of a crucial midfield battle.
The Roar, meanwhile, have shown they can score goals, but their inconsistency has cost them. Three points away in the 'city of churches' will give them confidence that they belong in the top half of the table this season. Tameka Yallop, Sharn Freier, Grace Kuilamu and Chloe Lincoln will all be available for Brisbane.
Western Sydney Wanderers v Sydney FC

The Western Sydney Wanderers are out to prove that their victory over Brisbane Roar was no flash in the pan when they take on their biggest rivals, Sydney FC, on Sunday afternoon.
The Wanderers have not defeated - or scored against - Sydney FC since 2019. They're in a good position to change that, however, with Korean national Kim Soeun looking dangerous alongside proven goalscorer Holly Caspers.
Sydney is yet to be defeated this season, and is building from the base of a sturdy defence. They welcome back midfield talent Hana Lowry this week after she ruptured her ACL at the beginning of last season and will hope that the addition of Lowry can help them reach the level that would see them be bona fide title contenders - that is, creating more chances from open play.
