Perth Glory v Western United

Date: Friday, 7 March
Kickoff: 10 pm AEDT
Venue: Sam Kerr Football Centre
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Perth Glory

Western United will travel to Perth as favourites to solidify their spot in the top six, but know that Perth at home is one of the trickiest assignments in the league.

Western are currently fourth, two points ahead of Canberra in seventh. Three points will be huge for them as they look to stave off challenges from the teams immediately below them. Perth, meanwhile, are looking for a positive end to the season, and maybe even make a late charge at the top six.

Chloe Logarzo and Chloe Lincoln will be available for Western United.

Newcastle Jets v Sydney FC

Date: Saturday, 8 March
Kickoff: 4.30 pm AEDT
Venue: Newcastle Sports Ground No.2
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketmaster

Sydney FC will be hoping to build on a positive performance last week with another three points against the Jets.

While this game is last against second last, both teams are coming off rare wins last week. Three points for either would not only be a massive confidence boost but will keep them in the running – albeit barely – for the top six race.

Tash Prior will be available for the Jets.

Adelaide United v Central Coast Mariners

Date: Saturday, 8 March
Kickoff: 7.45 pm AEDT
Venue: Coopers Stadium
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

Adelaide United are arguably the form team in the competition, but they take on a Central Coast Mariners side desperate for points.

The Mariners are in a pack of four teams contending for three finals places. If they don’t start picking up points, they will find themselves overtaken – and fast. Adelaide will be looking for three points to keep themselves involved in an ever-tightening premiership race with Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory.

Jessika Nash will be available for the Mariners while Matilda McNamara will be available for Adelaide. It will be McNamara's 50th appearance for the Reds.

Wellington Phoenix v Western Sydney Wanderers

Date: Sunday, 9 March
Kickoff: 2 pm AEDT
Venue: Porirua Park
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Flicket

A month ago, the Wellington Phoenix may well have banked on these points at home against the Wanderers – but, after three consecutive wins, it is the visitors who are arguably favourites against the Phoenix.

Wellington are still only four points away from the top six but are running out of time to become serious contenders at making the finals for the first time in their history. Meanwhile, the Wanderers are catching up – and if they can continue the run of form that they have been in, they could not only challenge Wellington for the points at Porirua Park, but maybe for their potential top-six place as well.

Melbourne Victory v Canberra United

Date: Sunday, 9 March
Kickoff: 5 pm AEDT
Venue: Home of the Matildas
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

Melbourne Victory will be hoping to continue to put the pressure on league leaders, City, with a win, while Canberra United could find themselves in the top six with any kind of point on Sunday.

It’s been a remarkable season for Canberra so far as they have defied all expectations to be closing in on a finals spot. It will be an immense challenge on the weekend, however, with Victory currently on a seven-game undefeated streak and looking ominous as the final weeks of the season approach.

Michelle Heyman will be available for Canberra, while Emily Gielnik, Alex Chidiac and Alana Murphy will be ready to take the pitch for Victory.
