Central Coast Mariners v Western Sydney Wanderers

Date: Friday, 28 February
Kickoff: 4.50pm AEDT
Venue: Industree Group Stadium
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

The Central Coast Mariners will be hoping for three points that will help them in their quest of a top-six place, but they will come up against a Wanderers side in their best form of the season.

The Mariners currently sit in sixth, one point clear of Canberra in seventh. Every game from now until the end of the season is vital for the team looking to make finals for the second time in their two years back in the league. They face a Wanderers side who have won consecutive games for the first time this season and is hoping to finish the season strong and far away from the bottom of the table.

Jessika Nash will be available for the Mariners.

Canberra United v Melbourne City

Date: Saturday, 1 March
Kickoff: 4pm AEDT
Venue: McKellar Park
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: TicketSearch

Melbourne City are seeking history as they look to extend their unbeaten run to 18 games, equal with the record in the competition. Canberra, just like they did in 2016, are hoping to stop them.

City are comfortably on top of the table and look set – bar late season calamity – to win their second consecutive premiership. However, Canberra is one of the most difficult away trips in the competition. They will throw everything at overcoming City and will be determined to get three points that will help them continue to challenge for the top six.

Holly McNamara and Michelle Heyman have been named for City and Canberra, respectively, after returning from the United States after the SheBelieves Cup.

Laura Hughes, Leah Davidson, Bryleeh Henry and Karly Roestbakken will also be available for City.

Newcastle Jets v Perth Glory

Date: Saturday, 1 March
Kickoff: 4.30pm AEDT
Venue: No.2 Sportsground
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketmaster

The Newcastle Jets and Perth Glory will face off with pride on the line in the latter stages of the season.

The Jets have shown signs of fantastic football this season but have been unable to find the back of the net regularly enough to challenge the top teams. The Glory, meanwhile, have been dealt a tough hand with injuries and will be hoping to show their best form away from their home comforts of Perth this week.

Tash Prior has not been named in the Jets team this week after returning from the United States.

Western United v Melbourne Victory

Date: Saturday, 1 March
Kickoff: 6pm AEDT
Venue: Ironbark Fields
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

Western United take on Melbourne Victory in a derby with plenty of consequences for the top six.

Western United are currently in fourth but only three points clear of Canberra in seventh. Victory, meanwhile, are hoping to keep the pressure on Melbourne City on top of the table as they sit seven points below them.

Not only will Western want to secure the three points to keep them ahead in the finals race, but they will also be hoping for the win to farewell former CommBank Young Matilda Kahli Johnson, who is playing her final game for the club after securing a mid-season transfer to Canada.

Alana Murphy has been named for Victory after debuting for the CommBank Matildas at the SheBelieves Cup. Alex Chidiac and Emily Gielnik will also be available.

Chloe Logarzo and Chloe Lincoln will be available for Western United.

Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United

Date: Sunday, 2 March
Kickoff: 2pm AEDT
Venue: Porirua Park
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Flicket

Wellington Phoenix hosts Adelaide United in an almost must-win game for the Kiwi side.

The Phoenix are currently four points out of the top six, and they know that they need to be picking up wins if they are to finish in finals for the first time in their history. Home games, in particular, are vital. However, they are taking on an Adelaide United side in red hot form, with a front three of Chelsie Dawber, Erin Healy, and Fiona Worts all fit and firing. If Adelaide win, they will finish the round as high as second.

Matilda McNamara will be available in the heart of defence for Adelaide as they look to leave New Zealand with all three points.

Sydney FC v Brisbane Roar

Date: Sunday, 2 March
Kickoff: 5pm AEDT
Venue: Leichhardt Oval
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

Sydney FC will be hoping to get themselves off the foot of the ladder when they take on the Brisbane Roar on Sunday.

The Roar are clinging onto their top-six spot after a scoreless draw with Western United before the international break. However, they will be bolstered by the return of Momo Hayashi into midfield, as well as CommBank Matildas stars Laini Freier and Tameka Yallop into the fold.

The key for Sydney FC is scoring goals – if they can do that, they have a chance against a Brisbane side who have not been the most defensively sturdy throughout the season.

Laini Freier and Tameka Yallop will be available for the Roar while Sharn Freier remains unavailable with an ankle injury.
