If Melbourne City avoid defeat against high-flying Adelaide United this weekend, they will move to a record 19 games unbeaten - the first team to ever do so in the A-League Women.
Meanwhile, Canberra United and Western United will play a massive six-pointer in the finals race as both are getting more and more desperate for three points.
NOTE: The game between Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne Victory, originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon, has been postponed due to forecast heat in Sydney. Details on the rescheduled fixture are still to come.

Western United v Canberra United
Date: Friday, 14 March
Kickoff: 7pm AEDT
Venue: Ironbark Fields
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek
Western United and Canberra United are only two points apart on the A-League Women ladder and three points for either side would be a massive boost to their finals hopes.
It has been three weeks since the home side has picked up a win, and four weeks for the visiting Canberra. Both teams have been part of a group sitting in and around the top six that have not been able to solidify their claim for a finals place. Any result other than a draw would be massively consequential in the context of the season.
Chloe Logarzo and Chloe Lincoln will be available for Western, while Michelle Heyman will hope to shake off her minor injury troubles to be available to start for Canberra.
Central Coast Mariners v Perth Glory
Date: Friday, 14 March
Kickoff: 7pm AEDT
Venue: Central Coast Stadium
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek
The Central Coast Mariners take on the in-form Perth Glory, hoping for a win after three consecutive losses.
The Mariners are still managing to cling onto their finals place, sitting in sixth on the table. However, they are equal on points with Canberra in seventh, only one point above Wellington Phoenix in eighth, and now only six points ahead of the Glory in ninth, who are gunning for a late finals charge.
If the Glory manage to pick up three points in Gosford, it would be a massive boost to what looked like only a few weeks ago a massively unlikely finals charge.
Jessika Nash will be available for the Mariners.
Sydney FC v Wellington Phoenix
Date: Saturday, 15 March
Kickoff: 5pm AEDT
Venue: Leichhardt Oval
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek
The Wellington Phoenix will be looking for crucial away points that could see them rise into the top six, against a Sydney FC team whose ambitions at this stage are all but mathematically reduced to avoiding finishing bottom.
A stirring comeback from the Phoenix against the Wanderers last week saw them rise to within one point of the finals. Another three points against Sydney could see them finish the round as high as fifth as they continue their push to make the finals for the first time in competition history.
Melbourne City v Adelaide United
Date: Sunday, 16 March
Kickoff: 4pm AEDT
Venue: ctrl:cyber Pitch
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketbooth
They had to wait an extra week, but Melbourne City finally have an opportunity to create history as they seek to become the first team to go nineteen games unbeaten in the A-League Women against Adelaide United this weekend.
City is currently at the top of the table but is only two points ahead of Melbourne Victory and, crucially, only four points ahead of Adelaide United. For Adelaide, this match is an opportunity not only to become the first team to defeat City this season but also to give themselves every opportunity to challenge for the premiership themselves.
Holly McNamara, Laura Hughes, Leah Davidson, Bryleeh Henry and Karly Roestbakken will all be available for Melbourne City as they push for what would be a historic achievement.
Matilda McNamara will be available in the heart of defence for Adelaide.
Brisbane Roar v Newcastle Jets
Date: Sunday, 16 March
Kickoff: 6.30pm AEDT
Venue: Perry Park
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek
The Brisbane Roar will be hoping a weather-enforced week off allows them to re-set as they take on the Newcastle Jets this weekend.
The Roar have been in free-fall in recent weeks, struggling to reach the same dizzying heights as the start of the season. However, there is still plenty of quality on their books, and with the expected return to the pitch of midfielder Momo Hayashi this week, there is plenty of reason for home fans to be optimistic against the 10th-placed Jets.
Tameka Yallop and Laini Freier are expected to be available for the Roar, while Sharn Freier is unavailable as she continues her recovery from her season-ending ankle injury.
Tash Prior will be available in the heart of defence for Newcastle.
