Melbourne Victory v Sydney FC

Date: Friday, 24 January
Kickoff: 4.50pm AEDT
Venue: AAMI Park
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

The second Big Blue of the season sees second-place Melbourne Victory taking on a Sydney FC team that is undefeated in 2025.

Victory goes into the game as favourites on account of their position on the table, but Sydney has gone through somewhat of a resurgence this month. They are still eight points away from finals, however, and will need to start picking up wins if they are to avoid missing out on finals for the first time in their history.

Alex Chidiac and Emily Gielnik will both be available for Victory.

Western Sydney Wanderers v Melbourne City

Date: Saturday, 25 January
Kickoff: 5pm AEDT
Venue: Wanderers Football Park
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Free Entry

It's bottom against first as the Western Sydney Wanderers host Melbourne City.

The Wanderers have shown glimpses of brilliance this season, particularly through their young attacking weapon Sienna Saveska, who can score from anywhere. However, City are the team to beat, still undefeated after 12 games – and it seems like it would take a miracle for that run to end on Saturday.

Laura Hughes, Leah Davidson, Holly McNamara, and Karly Roestbakken will all be available for City, while Bryleeh Henry is also available, returning after two games out with a concussion.

Adelaide United v Western United

Date: Saturday, 25 January
Kickoff: 5.30pm AEDT
Venue: Marden Sports Complex
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

Adelaide United take on Western United on the back of a statement victory last week as they seek to finish in a finals place for only the second time in their history.

Adelaide’s victory over the Roar saw them finish Round 12 in third on the ladder, and looking dangerous for the rest of the competition. However, Western United are themselves in fantastic form, coming off the back of a comprehensive midweek victory against Perth – the question for Western will be whether they provide the consistency that their season craves.

Matilda McNamara will be available for Adelaide while Chloe Lincoln and Chloe Logarzo will be available for Western United.

Newcastle Jets v Canberra United

Date: Saturday, 25 January
Kickoff: 7.45pm AEDT
Venue: McDonald Jones Stadium
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketmaster

Canberra United travels to Newcastle hoping to regain their place in the top six after a fantastic run of form.

Canberra have had a perfect 2025 so far apart from a midweek blip against Sydney. They will be hoping to carry that momentum against a Newcastle Jets side who have shown that they are capable of getting results, but have not had much luck so far this season.

Michelle Heyman has been named in Canberra’s extended squad after missing out last week. Tash Prior will be available for Newcastle.

Central Coast Mariners v Wellington Phoenix

Date: Sunday, 26 January
Kickoff: 5pm AEDT
Venue: Woy Woy Oval
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Ticketek

The Central Coast Mariners taking on the Wellington Phoenix promises to be a fascinating clash between two very evenly matched teams.

The Phoenix are currently two points ahead of the Mariners, in fifth place after a dramatic late win against the Jets last week. Both teams will be battling for a top-six place at the end of the season and a win for either side could prove to be decisive come the end of the season.

Jessika Nash will be available in the heart of defence for the Mariners.

Perth Glory v Brisbane Roar

Date: Sunday, 26 January
Kickoff: 8pm AEDT
Venue: Sam Kerr Football Centre
Broadcast: 10Play and Paramount+
Tickets: Perth Glory

The Brisbane Roar will travel to Perth looking to bounce back after consecutive defeats.

The Glory have been severely hamstrung by injury this season but are always a threat in front of their home fans. They will have to contend with a Roar team that are still the best attacking team in the competition but will be hungry for three points to get their season back on track.

Tameka Yallop and Sharn Freier will both be available for the Roar.
