Melbourne City 2 - 1 Melbourne Victory
Melbourne City jumped into third place on the A-League Women's table after a come-from-behind, 2-1 win over Melbourne Victory on Tuesday.
Former City star Rhianna Pollicina scored for Victory in the first half before an own goal, and a Holly McNamara strike from a set piece, lifted City to the three points. The result means that Victory remain top of the table - but City are only five points behind in third, with a full five games in hand.
McNamara and Alexia Apostolakis started for City, while Karly Roestbakken came off the bench in the second half. Bryleeh Henry remains unavailable for City due to injury.

Melbourne Victory will look to bounce back after their midweek derby defeat when they take on defending champions Central Coast Mariners on Saturday.
The two sides have already met this season, when Victory enacted some level of Grand Final revenge with a 1-0 victory. If they can manage the double they will stay top of the table for another week and build momentum into a premiership push into the new year.
For the Mariners part, a win would solidify their top six place - breaking away from the four teams hot on their tail. Isabel Gomez will be available for the Mariners.

The Newcastle Jets host high-flying Canberra United on Saturday as Canberra hope to enact revenge for their opening round defeat.
Both sides can take plenty of positives out of their start to the year, with both sitting in the top six. Canberra turned heads when they defeated Victory, Sydney and City in the span of eight days before a late draw with the Mariners last week kept their undefeated run going. Now on the road, Canberra will have to perform well to overcome a Jets side full of exciting talent and goal scoring threats.
Natasha Prior will be available for the Jets, and one of her main tasks will likely be to contain Canberra United's Michelle Heyman.

Melbourne City host a Perth Glory side who are high on confidence after consecutive 1-0 victories.
City will hope to continue their rise up the table after their shock loss to Canberra United a fortnight ago. They will take heart in knowing that they still have several games in hand on their competition. Holly McNamara, Alexia Apostolakis and Karly Roestbakken will all be available, with Bryleeh Henry continuing to recover from injury.
The Glory have built well from a sturdy defence in recent weeks. Keeping City out for 90 minutes is always a challenge, but it's one that Glory will back themselves to meet. A win could see them rise as high as third.
