England

Arsenal needed a late Stina Blackstenius goal to overcome Liverpool 2-1. Olivia Smith scored early - assisted by Steph Catley - before an equaliser to Liverpool threatened to earn them a point. It wasn't to be, with the Gunners eventually making good on their dominance to walk away with three points. Catley and Kyra Cooney-Cross both started for Arsenal while Caitlin Foord was a second-half substitute.

Tottenham Hotspur overcame ten-player Aston Villa 2-1 in dramatic circumstances. The game was scoreless when Oceane Deslandes was given her second yellow card in the 65th minute. Clare Wheeler was a big part of the victory for Everton in midfield. Ellie Carpenter started for Chelsea, while Sam Kerr was a second-half substitute.
