Elsewhere, Mary Fowler started for Manchester City for the first time since recovering from an ACL rupture, while Winonah Heatley helped keep a clean sheet as AS Roma went six points clear on top of the Serie A Femminile table.
Amy Sayer was also on the scoresheet, scoring her first goal for new side Malmö FF in the Swedish Cup.

This weekend was dedicated to the FA Cup Round of 16.
Brighton & Hove Albion overcame West Ham 2-1. Two early goals from Fran Kirby and Kiko Seike were enough for the Seagulls to hold onto the win. Charlie Rule started and played the full game for Brighton, while Katrina Gorry was a second-half substitute for the Hammers.
Arsenal eased past Bristol City 3-0. Kim Little, Victoria Pelova and Frida Maanum were on the scoresheet for the Gunners. Steph Catley and Caitlin Foord both started, while Kyra Cooney-Cross was not named in the matchday squad due to illness.
Sam Kerr was on the scoresheet as Chelsea overcame Manchester United in extra time. She scored the first goal of the game six minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute, before a United equaliser forced an extra thirty minutes. Naomi Girma’s 99th-minute goal sealed the win for the Blues. Ellie Carpenter played all 120 minutes for Chelsea at right-back.
In fantastic signs for the CommBank Matildas, Mary Fowler started her first game for City since her ACL injury in their 4-0 victory over Sheffield United. She played 63 minutes and was on the pitch for City’s first three goals as they eased past their less fancied opponents.
Finally, there was an upset in the Merseyside Derby as Liverpool defeated Everton 2-1. Mia Enderby and Beata Olsson were the first-half goal scorers for Liverpool. Clare Wheeler started and played the full game in midfield for Everton.
London City Lionesses and Tottenham Hotspur will face off tomorrow morning (AEDT). Alanna Kennedy will be available for the Lionesses, while Clare Hunt will be available for Spurs. Charli Grant is back in contention for the game.
Sweden
AIK Fotboll defeated Linköping 1-0. Lisa Bjork scored the only goal of the game in the first half to secure the victory. Jada Whyman played the first half as she returned from injury in time for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026™.
Amy Sayer was on the scoresheet for new side Malmö FF for the first time in their 4-1 victory over Umeå. She scored their third goal as they lifted themselves to second in Group 3. Sayer started the match, as did Courtney Nevin.
FC Rosengård take on Hammarby tomorrow morning. Remy Siemsen will be unavailable due to international duty.
France
Lyon defeated Marseille 6-2 in an entertaining league fixture. Teagan Micah is unavailable for Lyon due to symptoms of concussion.
Germany
TSG Hoffenheim defeated Leverkusen 1-0 in a massive win for their top three hopes. Selina Cerci’s first-half penalty was enough to secure all the points. Jamilla Rankin was an unused substitute for Hoffenheim.
Eintracht Frankfurt take on Freiburg tomorrow morning (AEDT), but Hayley Raso will be unavailable due to international duty.
Italy
Como defeated Genoa 1-0 to put them five points away from European places. Liucija Vaitukaityte scored the only goal of the game in the first half to secure the victory. Alex Chidiac started and played the full match for Como.
AS Roma went six points clear on top of the table with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan. Evelyne Viens scored the key goal as Roma continue their title push. Winonah Heatley started and played the full game, helping Roma to their clean sheet.
