Arsenal host Lyon at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 9.30pm AEST. The Gunners have won the UWCL once, all the way back in 2006-07, and will be drawing on history as they look to take on step closer to the final. Lyon, meanwhile, have won the competition an astonishing eight times. They fell at the final hurdle last season – they will not want a repeat of that defeat this time around.

Caitlin Foord, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Steph Catley will all be available for Arsenal. Ellie Carpenter will be available for Lyon.

In the other semi-final, Chelsea will travel to Barcelona for the first leg on Monday, 2am AEST. Barcelona are the defending champions and favourites but are not invincible – they have lost in the league and in the UWCL this season. Chelsea will be hoping their strong form carries them to a first-leg advantage here.

Sam Kerr remains on the precipice of making a return for Chelsea.

You can catch the UWCL on DAZN.

Women’s Super League

Arsenal defeated Leicester City 5-1 on Wednesday as they looked to build momentum heading into the UWCL, while keeping the pressure on first-place Chelsea. Caitlin Foord scored a first-half brace while Stina Blackstenius, Beth Mead, and Victoria Pelova were the other goalscorers.

Foord and Steph Catley both started for the Gunners while Kyra Cooney-Cross was substituted on for 25 minutes in the second half. Courtney Nevin was a second-half substitute for Leicester.

West Ham will host Manchester United on Saturday, 9pm AEST. United will be looking to regain points parity with Arsenal while the Hammers continue their rise into mid-table. Katrina Gorry will be unavailable for West Ham due to an ankle injury.

Liverpool travel to take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, 9.30pm AEST. Brighton started the season well and will hope to finish strongly – if they beat Liverpool on Saturday, they will finish the round at least three points clear in fifth, as the “best of the rest” after the top four sides. Teagan Micah will be available for the Reds.

Manchester City take on Everton on Sunday, 10pm AEST. City need all the points they can get as they hope to make a late charge to the top three and a European place for next year. However, they are heavily impacted by injuries - including Mary Fowler, who will not be available after it was confirmed that she tore her ACL last week. Clare Wheeler will be available for Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur host Aston Villa on Sunday, 11pm AEST. Both teams are hoping to finish the season on a high and, in Villa’s case, escape any notions of a relegation battle. Charli Grant and Clare Hunt will be available for Spurs. The club has not yet given an indication whether Hayley Raso will be available after missing the international window.

The final game of the round will be next week, when Chelsea take on Aston Villa on Thursday, 4.15am AEST, after their UWCL tie.

United States

Portland Thorns take on Seattle Reign in the Pacific North-West Derby on Saturday, 12pm AEST. Both teams have had middling starts to the season – they sit sixth and seventh respectively – and any win is not only important for the fans, but also will rocket either side up the table. Kaitlyn Torpey will be available for the Thorns while there is no indication yet as to whether Mackenzie Arnold will be able to make her return from injury.

Angel City hosts Gotham FC on Saturday, 12.30pm AEST. Angel City will be hoping for a win to keep pace with the top three in these early stages of the season, while a win for Gotham could see them break away from the midtable pack. Alanna Kennedy will be available for Angel City.

The North Carolina Courage will be hoping for their first win of the season when they host Bay FC on Sunday, 9am AEST. Bay FC are currently in the host of teams with one win at the moment and the Courage will be hoping to join them with three points. Cortnee Vine will be available for the Courage.

You can catch the NWSL live and on demand on Optus Sport.

Sweden

AIK Fotboll take on Malmö on Saturday, 9pm AEST. AIK will be hoping for any points that they can get early in the season to avoid a consecutive relegation battle. Jada Whyman remains unavailable for AIK due to a knee injury, but the good news this week is that she is back in full training.

Kristianstads DFF travel to take on Rosengård on Monday, 11pm AEST. They’ll be searching for a win to get their season back on track after two losses in the first three games. Remy Siemsen will be available for Kristianstads, while Amy Sayer is involved in full training and is getting closer to a return after her ACL reconstruction.

Denmark

FC Nordsjælland secured passage to the Danish Cup final with a 2-1 second leg victory over Brøndby. Cecilie Larsen and Anna Walter were the goalscorers as their victory ensures they can defend their title against Fortuna Hjørring in May. Winonah Heatley started and played the full match for Nordsjælland.

They will compete in the league on Monday, 11pm AEST in a crucial six-pointer against Fortuna Hjørring. They are seven points behind Hjørring with seven games in the season remaining – a win on Monday would see them reduce that deficit to four. Heatley will again be available for her side.

Netherlands

FC Twente take on Ajax on Monday, 8.15pm AEST in a crucial match for the title race. Twente currently sit on top, with PSV behind them on goal difference and Ajax in third, only one point away. A win for Twente would give them a buffer on at least one of their title rivals. Daniela Galic will be available for Twente.
