Bristol City will be looking to go back to the glory of their 2022/23 season, which saw them promoted to the top flight after finishing as Champions in the WSL2, then known as the Women's Championships.

Apostolakis started her A-League Women's career with hometown club the Western Sydney Wanderers, making her debut in the 2021/22 season and making 11 appearances and scoring, becoming the youngest Wanderers' scorer of all time at 15 years and 279 days.

The young defender went on to make 42 appearances for Western Sydney Wanderers before making the move to Melbourne City. During her first season with City, Apostoalkis helped City to the league premiership and to the Grand Final.

Her second season with City saw her complete the double in Melbourne, claiming the premiership and the championship for the 2025/26 season, making 22 appearances in the double-winning season.

On the international stage, the defender has featured at two FIFA U20 Women's World Cups and captained her side during Australia's AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 campaign.

Apostolakis earned her debut call-up for the CommBank Matildas in 2025, being called in as an injury replacement during Australia's two-match series against the Korea Republic in April.

She would go on to make her debut for Australia in July 2025 against Panama in Bunbury, coming off the bench to become Australia's 242nd capped player.

The Women's Super League 2 season will kick off in September, and she will be joined by 3 fellow Australians in the league: Emily van Egmond at Leicester City, Kaitlyn Torpey at Newcastle United and Alana Murphy at Nottingham Forest.
