Melbourne Victory will have to overcome a one-goal deficit if they are to advance to the final over rivals Melbourne City.
Victory have become renowned for their prowess defensively and on set pieces but will need to find more attacking verve if they are to get the job done against City. The likes of Victory Medalist Rachel Lowe will be vital to get the win.
City will hope that their one-goal advantage gives them what they need to avoid any hiccups, and to repeat the pain of last season’s semi-final defeat. Holly McNamara and first-leg goalscorer Leticia McKenna will be central to their efforts.
Wellington Phoenix v Brisbane Roar

Porirua Park will be heaving as the Wellington Phoenix look to make history and win their first-ever finals game against the Brisbane Roar.
The Phoenix earned their place in the semi-final after finishing second in the regular season and will have been disappointed with their defeat in the first leg. However, they will back themselves to overturn the deficit in their home fortress of Wellington.
Meanwhile, the Roar have been in scintillating form in the back end of the season and have seen the reintegration of the likes of Tameka Yallop and Bente Jansen into the side. With a goal to play with, and Chloe Lincoln between the sticks, it could well be the Roar who qualify for their first grand final in over a decade.
