Everton held on with ten players to defeat Liverpool 2-0 in the Merseyside Derby. Katja Snoeijs and Sara Holmgaard were the goal-scorers for Everton, before a red card to Sara Holmgaard in the 81st minute made the final period of the game nervy. Clare Wheeler played the full game for Everton in midfield while Teagan Micah was an unused substitute for Liverpool.
