United States

The NWSL continues this week, while the USL is on a break until August.

Portland Thorns travel to take on Bay FC on Sunday, 9.30am AEST. The Thorns will be hoping to bounce back after their disappointing semi-final defeat in the CONCACAF W Championships before the international break. Kaitlyn Torpey will be available for the Thorns, while Mackenzie Arnold will hope to return after missing the international break due to a foot injury.

Angel City FC host the Chicago Stars on Sunday, 12pm AEST. Chicago are currently bottom of the league with only one win from ten games so far, while Angel City are just in the playoffs. Alanna Kennedy will be available for Angel City.

North Carolina Courage take on the Washington Spirit on Monday, 6am AEST. The Courage could move into the play-off spots with a win, while the Spirit’s good form so far this season has seen them sit in the top four. Cortnee Vine will be available for the Courage.

You can watch the NWSL live and on demand on Optus Sport.

Canada

Calgary Wild FC take on Halifax Tides FC on Friday, 11am AEST. Halifax currently sit bottom of the six-team league but in a competition that is so close, Calgary will not take any result for granted. Kahli Johnson is in doubt after a quad injury picked up in the international window.

You can watch the Northern Super League on YouTube.

Sweden

AIK Fotboll host Rosengård on Saturday, 9pm AEST. Rosengård are the defending champions who came agonisingly close to an invincible season last year, but this year find themselves mid-table and five points away from European qualifying spots. Jada Whyman and her team will hope to capitalise, to potentially lift themselves above Rosengård and as high as sixth.

Krtistianstads DFF travel to face Alingsås on Sunday, 12am AEST. Alingsås are a newly promoted team currently at the bottom of the table with one win from nine games so far. Three points for Kristianstads could see them end the round in European qualification spots. Amy Sayer and Remy Siemsen will be available for Kristianstads.

Denmark

FC Nordsjælland go into the final two games of the season needing at least four points to secure a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League next season. They take on Køge on Saturday, 9pm AEST in the first of these crucial matches. Winonah Heatley will be available for Nordsjælland.
