The Round of 16 in the Women's FA Cup gets underway this weekend in England, with teams from the first down to the third tier of football involved.
Elsewhere, CommBank Matildas face off in Italy as the Serie A Femminile returns for 2026.

England
This weekend in England is dedicated to the Round of 16 of the Women’s FA Cup.
Everton defeated West Brom 5-0 on Friday morning (AEDT). Yuka Momiki scored a brace in the first half before the Toffees ran away with the result. Clare Wheeler was introduced in the fourth minute after an injury-enforced change and played the rest of the game.
Kaitlyn Torpey will have the chance to debut for new club Newcastle United when they host West Ham on Saturday, 6.30am AEDT. Newcastle are currently fourth in the second tier, while the Hammers are struggling for form in the WSL. Torpey will be available for the Magpies and Katrina Gorry will be available for West Ham.
London City Lionesses travel to take on Sunderland on Saturday, 11.15pm AEDT. Sunderland are currently eighth in the WSL2, and the Lionesses will be hoping for a comfortable win to ease into the quarter-finals. Alanna Kennedy will be available for London City.
Chelsea take on Crystal Palace on Saturday, 11.30pm AEDT. The Blues will be hoping to rotate against the mid-table WSL2 side as they look to defend their trophy. Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter will be available for Chelsea.
Tottenham Hotspur take on fellow top-tier side Leicester City on Sunday, 11pm AEDT. Spurs have been in good form in the league, but the Foxes will back themselves in the Cup competition. Clare Hunt will be available for Spurs, while Charli Grant remains unavailable due to injury. Emily van Egmond will be available for Leicester.
Third-tier Bournemouth will host Manchester City in a massive clash on Monday, 12am AEDT. The home side will be hoping for some magic of the cup if they are to get close to competing with one of the competition favourites in City. Mary Fowler is getting closer to a return from her ACL injury, but it is expected to be too soon for her to take the pitch this weekend.
Brighton & Hove Albion take on second-tier Nottingham Forest on Monday, 12am AEDT. The Seagulls will hope a cup run can help their 2026 begin on a positive note. Charlie Rule will be available for Brighton.
Arsenal host Aston Villa on Monday, 1am AEDT. The Gunners will be favourites against a Villa side struggling for form this season, but as in every game, anything can happen in the cup. Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley will be available for Arsenal while Kyra Cooney-Cross remains on personal leave.
France
Lyon defeated Lens 1-0 to continue their perfect record in the league this season. Lily Yohannes scored the only goal of the game in the first half to help Lyon to victory. Teagan Micah started between the sticks and extended her record to five matches for Lyon without conceding a single goal.
The French champions continue in the league on Sunday, travelling to take on Paris FC on Sunday at 11pm AEDT. Teagan Micah will be available for Lyon.
Italy
The Serie A Femminile gets back underway this weekend.
Como take on Napoli on Sunday, 4am AEDT. Both teams are currently sitting in mid-table and will be looking for a win to elevate them into the conversation for the top three and European places. Alex Chidiac will be available for Como.
Elsewhere, it’s a CommBank Matildas derby when AS Roma hosts Sassuolo. Roma are five points clear on top of the league but will need to keep winning to stay clear of the chasing pack. Winonah Heatley will be available for Roma, while Jessika Nash and Jacynta Galabadaarachchi will be available for Sassuolo.
