Defender Alexia Apostolakis is no stranger to playing for Australia, having represented her country at the 2022 and 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Apostolakis was part of the team that won Bronze at the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2024.

The young defender made her professional debut in the 2021/22 season, and has played every season since, making the switch to Melbourne City and helping them to a Premiership in the 2024/25 season, her fourth season in the league, which is hard to believe given she is only 19.

Apostolakis received her first senior call-up in April 2025, added to the squad for Australia's series against the Korea Republic as a train-on player. Her next call-up came for Australia's two-match series against Panama.
