Wini Heatley signs for AS Roma in the Serie A Femminile

Wini Heatley signs for AS Roma in the Serie A Femminile, signing a contract with the Italian side that will last until 30 June 2028.

The defender joins Roma after spending the last three seasons at FC Nordsjælland in Denmark. Her time in Denmark saw her captain FC Nordsjælland, as well as helping them to the 2023/24 Danish Women's League title and back-to-back Danish Women's Cup trophies.

Roma finished the 2024/25 season in third place and booked their place in next season's Champions League first round. After winning the Serie A title in the 2023/24 season, the side booked their place in the Supercoppa Italiana final, which saw Roma claim the title after a 3-1 win over ACF Fiorentina.

"Roma is a club with an incredible history, and the women's team is a very successful team, so it's an honour to be here and I can't wait to get started," Heatley told Roma.

"I know that the Serie A is a very strong league, and the standard of quality at Roma is very high. So I'm expecting to grow a lot as a player and meet the standards of the football here."

The 2025/26 season will kick off in August.
