The Westfield Young Matildas kick-off their AFC U-19 Women’s Championship on Sunday, 27 October at 8pm AEDT and you can watch live.
Leah Blayney’s side, which contains Westfield Matilda internationals Karly Roestbakken, Princess Ibini and Mary Fowler, will test themselves against Asia’s best and get their campaign under way against DPR Korea in their Group A opener.
Australia have also been drawn alongside Vietnam and the host nation Thailand as they bid to land one of the two spots to advance to the Semi Finals.
The competition’s top three teams will punch their ticket to the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Nigeria in July 2020.
