Arsenal has progressed to the UEFA Women's Champions League round 1 final on Saturday after beating Linköping FC 3-0, with Caitlin Foord opening the scoring for the Gunners.
Caitlin Foord started for Jonas Eidevall’s side, taking on Swedish outfit Linköping FC for a spot in the next stage of qualification, with a win over the side assuring a spot in Saturday's round 1 final against the winner of Paris FC and FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih.

Arsenal had the chance to go up early in the game after the visitors were awarded a spot kick after a handball in the box, with skipper Kim Little's attempt saved by Cajsa Andersson.
Foord opened the scoring in the second half for the Gunners, Little did well to keep the ball in and sent a cross into the back post that found an unmarked Foord who made no mistake from close range, heading her side in front.

Former Linkoping players Stina Blackstenius and Lina Hurtig also added their names to the scoresheet, both coming off the bench to find the back of the net against their former side to seal the victory for Arsenal.
Steph Catley came off the bench at the hour mark to help the Gunners keep their clean sheet intact and ensure a victory. Arsenal will now take on Paris FC on Saturday night, with the winner of the game advancing to Round 2 of qualifying, with Foord and Catley coming up against a fellow Aussie in Sarah Hunter at Paris FC.
