The UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-finals first leg kicks off for our Matildas Abroad on Wednesday morning. Arsenal takes on Bayern Munich, while Lyon and Chelsea go head-to-head!
Games will be shown live and free on the DAZN YouTube page.

Bayern v Arsenal
The Gunners progressed to the quarter-finals as Group C winners and have been drawn against Group D runners-up, Bayern Munich, who finished behind Spanish side FC Barcelona.
Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley's Arsenal will be playing in their record-breaking 15th quarter-final when they travel to Germany to take on Bayern, while their opponents are into their 6th quarter-final in 7 seasons.

Both teams were knocked out during the quarter-finals stage last season, Bayern defeated by Paris Saint-Germain in extra time and Arsenal going down to another German side, Wolfsburg. However, their UWCL campaign this season has seen a turnaround for both sides, with both defeating the 2021-22 finalist in the group stage, Arsenal recording an emphatic 5-1 over title holders Lyon while Bayern beat FC Barcelona 3-1.
The Gunners' shot-stopper, Manuela Zinsberger, will be very familiar with their quarter-final opponent, playing for the side for five years before making the move to North London.

Lyon v Chelsea
Two giants of women's football will meet when Ellie Carpenter's Lyon takes on Sam Kerr's Chelsea, with the two sides looking to book their spot in the semi-final.
Both come into the fixture in fine form, sitting first on the table in their respective leagues. The two sides last met in the competition back in the 2018-19 season, where Lyon went on to win the trophy after knocking Chelsea out in the semi-finals.
The French side knocked out the Blues 3-2 on aggregate, with Lyon going on to win the final 4-1 against Barcelona. The sides met in early 2022 during the pre-season Women's International Champions Cup tournament, Kerr opened the scoring in the game, however, Lyon went on to win the tie 4-3 on penalties after the scores were locked 2-2 at the end of regular time.
Chelsea makes their fourth appearance in the quarter-finals stage, while OL is looking to lift the title for the ninth time.
Carpenter will be looking to make her UWCL return, with the defender's last appearance in the competition back in May. Sonia Bompastor's side could also welcome back the likes of Ada Hegerberg, looking to make her return from a long-term absence to play some part in this tie. Hegerberg is the all-time leading goalscorer in the UWCL, with 59 goals to her name and will be a welcome return for Lyon.
