Arsenal v Bayern

The Gunners went down 1-0 to German side Bayern Munich in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, with Arsenal looking to overturn the deficit.

Arsenal will be hoping an almost 20,000 crowd at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday will get them across the line and help them book their spot in the semi-finals of the UWCL.

Caitlin Foord looked the most likely to open the scoring for Arsenal in their first leg against Bayern, with Lea Schüller's header for the German side the difference on the night in Munich. Arsenal was knocked out at this stage in last season's competition, falling 3-1 on aggregate to another German side, Wolfsburg, with Jonas Eidevall's side looking to go one better than last season.

Lyon v Chelsea

The reigning UWCL champions, Ellie Carpenter's Lyon will be aiming to avoid their first elimination at an away ground since departing the 2008/09 semi-finals when they take on Sam Kerr's Chelsea.

Chelsea takes a 1-0 advantage into the second leg, with Guro Reiten's goal in France last weekend the difference for Emma Hayes' side. The Blues faced a 2-0 defeat over the weekend to Manchester City, which saw them lose their spot at the top of the table. While Lyon flexed their muscles in the D1, beating Guingamp 6-0 and seeing the return of Ada Hegerberg off the bench.

Lyon's coach, Sonia Bompastor, opted to rest key players for their league game over the weekend, with Carpenter among the trio.

Sam Kerr talked ahead of the second leg, "It's a different game when you play at home, so we're happy with the 1-0. We always try to get better in every game we play. We need to play how we played [in the first leg] and add a little more." she told UEFA.com.
