Teagan Micah signs for OL Lyonnes

Teagan Micah joins for OL Lyonnes in the Première Ligue, signing a contract with the 18-time league champions ahead of the upcoming 2025/25 season and signing with them until June 30, 2026.

The goalkeeper signs for the successful club in women's football, with the eight-time UEFA Women's Champions League winners and record-breaking 18-time league champions. The reigning Première Ligue Champions bolster their goalkeeping ranks with the signing of Micah.

Micah made the move after spending the last two seasons in the Women's Super League with Liverpool, where her time in Merseyside saw her make 19 appearances for the Reds.

The Australian will get the chance to play European football once again, with the goalkeeper last playing Champions League football with FC Rosengård in the 2022/23 season.

OL Lyonnes has won a record-breaking eight UEFA Women's Champions League titles, but was knocked out of the 2024/25 edition of the tournament during the semi-final stage by the eventual champions, Arsenal.

Domestically, Lyon lifted their 18th league championship title after finishing at the top of the table for the 2024/25 season and defeating PSG in the final. However, their Coupe de France Féminine campaign this season will be one they want to put behind them, being knocked out at the Round of 32 against Stade de Reims.

Micah is OL's eighth signing of the 2025/26 season, with the French Champions bringing on some serious firepower in French international Marie-Antoinette Katoto, as well as experienced players in Ingrid Engen, Jule Brand and Ashley Lawrence.
