Teagan Micah named in Norwegian Team of the Season

Teagan Micah’s first foray overseas ends in recognition. 

While Micah's club football season overseas didn’t go exactly according to plan, the Westfield Matildas shot stopper was influential during her short stint, being named in the Toppserien’s team of the year.

The 23-year-old fit right in to Arna-Bjornar’s starting line-up. She played 12 of a possible 18 matches before a hand injury cut her time in Norway short.

Praised for her quick reaction times and strong presence between the sticks, Micah was named in the team of the week three times throughout the season.

She was also lauded as a match winner, keeping Arna-Bjornar in contests and in the lead as they finished eighth out 10 teams.

Micah has been back in Australia since October and has signed with reigning Westfield W-League champions Melbourne City.

There is no doubt the shot stopper will be looking to take her great early season form in Norway and bring it to the Westfield W-League.
