Another standout campaign has seen Sam Kerr ranked second-highest women's footballer in FIFA 23 while a number of CommBank Matildas stars have had their ratings boosted ahead of FIFA 23’s release on September 30.
CommBank Matildas and Chelsea superstar Sam Kerr has been recognised for her fine form with a rating of 91, the second-highest ranked women's footballer in the game just behind Ballon d'Or Alexia Putellas on 92.
In a first for the franchise, Kerr will be the first female to grace the cover of a global version as well as the AUS/NZ Standard Edition of the popular game.

Ellie Carpenter is the next highest-rated Aussie woman, moving from a rating of 82 to 84 for FIFA 23. Steph Catley comes in with an 83 overall ranking, while Caitlin Foord and Lydia Williams have an overall rating of 81.
Olympique Lyonnais Féminin defender Carpenter has climbed from 77 to an 82 rating, the biggest rating boost. Her standout year for club and country saw her awarded both the PFA Women's Footballer and Young Women's Footballer of the Year.
As women’s club football comes to EA SPORTS FIFA for the first time ever with the addition of the Barclays WSL and D1 Arkema, FIFA presented the ratings for the top players in the women’s game in FIFA 23.
Kyah Simon and Hayley Raso both received a ranking of 79, while Manchester City teammate Alanna Kennedy remains on 78.
Mackenzie Arnold also receives an overall ranking of 78.
Mary Fowler, fresh off being shortlisted for the European Golden Girl award, is the biggest mover for the Matildas upgraded from 69 to 76.
