The CommBank Matildas are locked in to meet Scotland next month at Cherry Red Records Stadium (London) – the home of AFC Wimbledon.
Overall, the two teams have met 4 times in women’s football, with our last meeting a friendly match in 2015 in the lead-up to the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
Australia and Scotland have met on four previous occasions with a tied head-to-head (1-2-1). This will be the first meeting between the two nations under Gustavsson’s tenure.

Our last meeting - April 2015
The two sides last met in 2015, a friendly international that saw the CommBank Matildas bid farewell to retiring midfielder Collette McCallum in a 1-1 draw.
Australia struck first in the match with a goal from an unfamiliar source, defender Laura Brock (née Alleway) scoring her first international goal after 26 minutes only for Jane Ross to equalise for the hosts just before the hour mark.

The game in Falkirk provided preparation for the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada, with the game paying tribute to McCallum, who bowed out of the game after 81 ‘A’ international appearances and 11 goals for her country.
2014 Cyprus Cup
Australia and Scotland faced off at the 2014 Cyprus Cup, with Scotland recording a 4-2 win over the CommBank Matildas in the final group stage game in Larnaca.
Lisa Evans opened the scoring for Scotland in just the 12th minute, before Jane Ross scored a quick-fire double before the half-time break to send Scotland into the interval 3-0 up.
Michelle Heyman clawed back two goals for Australia but Ross completed her hat-trick soon after to finish the game 4-2.
Our first win over Scotland - 2003
Australia recorded their first-ever win over Scotland in 2003, with an early goal to Cheryl Salisbury providing the difference between the two sides.
The game at City Stadium in Livingston was game four of the Australians' five-match tour en route to the FIFA Women's World Cup in the USA.
