Micah: We are trying to get the most out of this window in terms of actually being able to train together
CommBank Matildas goalkeeper Teagan Micah joined the camp following a strong couple of weeks with her club side FC Rosengård.
With just four matches left in the Swedish Damallsvenskan, Micah and her Rosengård teammates are currently leading the league as they look to make it back-to-back titles.
For the next week, however, the Australian custodian will swap her club colours for the national team jersey with sights set on South Africa and maximising the time in assembly.
“We are trying to get the most out of this window in terms of actually being able to train together,” said Micah. “We haven't had that in a while just with us coming to Australia. So just trying to build on our building blocks here and then hopefully, obviously get the win against South Africa will be massive for us.”

While Micah’s concentration is firmly on the two upcoming matches of this October window, the Queenslander reflected her time with her Malmö base and its impact on her game.
“I think just playing with such high calibre players, it's helped my leadership and development so much.”
“We play such good football, I’m under the palm and we're a winning club. It's a really good mentality and space that I'm in.”
