The League Cup took centre stage in the absence of WSL action this weekend, with the group stage concluding.
Manchester City defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0. Two first-half goals from Grace Clinton and Lauren Hemp were enough for the heavily favoured City to ease past their lower league opponents. Mary Fowler remains unavailable for City as she continues her ACL rehabilitation.
Portsmouth picked up a shock 2-0 victory against West Ham. Jessie Gale and Chloe Sheffield were the goal scorers in the second half - both off the bench - to deliver a massive victory over WSL opponents. Katrina Gorry was rested for West Ham and was not in the matchday squad.
Everton defeated Newcastle 3-1. The Toffees held a precarious 1-0 lead at half-time before Katja Snoeijs and Toni Payne sealed the result in the second half. Clare Wheeler started and played the full game for Everton.
London City Lionesses overcame Ipswich 2-0 with goals on either side of half-time. Alanna Kennedy started for the Lionesses and played the full game in midfield.
Crystal Palace shocked Leicester City 3-0 to finish top of the group and advance to the quarter-finals. Palace raced to a three-goal advantage just after half-time and held on to the margin of victory, despite a red card in the 58th minute. Emily van Egmond started for the Foxes before being withdrawn in the second half.
Tottenham Hotspur did just enough to defeat Bristol City 1-0. Martha Thomas' second-half goal was enough to lift Spurs to the win. Clare Hunt started and played the full match, continuing her good form with another clean sheet. Charli Grant was unavailable due to nursing a knee injury.
The League Cup will now proceed to the quarter-final stage, where Caitlin Foord, Kyra Cooney Cross and Steph Catley's Arsenal, Manchester United and Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter's Chelsea are set to enter the competition. They will join the five teams that finished top of their group - Mary Fowler's Manchester City, Liverpool, Katrina Gorry's West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Clare Hunt and Charli Grant's Tottenham Hotspur.
France

TSG Hoffenheim were defeated 5-1 by Bayern Munich after an early red card left them exposed. Hoffenheim took the lead early, but a red card for Lisann Kaut just before half-time - when scores were 1-1 - changed the game. Jamilla Rankin was unavailable for Hoffenheim and was not in the matchday squad.
Italy
AS Roma defeated Como 1-0 in a top-of-the-table clash that sees them go five points clear at the top heading into the international break. Evelyne Viens scored the only goal of the game just before the break. Winonah Heatley was not in Roma's matchday squad.
