League Cup action was on display in England, AIK Fotboll survived relegation, and Lyon continued on their merry way with another win.

England
In the only WSL game of the weekend, Chelsea defeated Manchester United 1-0. A first-half penalty to Guro Reiten was the difference between the two sides as the defending champions continued their fantastic form at the top of the table. Sam Kerr remains unavailable for Chelsea.
The League Cup, meanwhile, featured a host of CommBank Matildas.
Tottenham Hotspur defeated Aston Villa 1-0 thanks to a wonderstrike from Eveliina Summanen. Spurs had the majority of chances and will be pleased to leave with the victory. Hayley Raso started the match, while Clare Hunt and Charli Grant were unused substitutes.
Teagan Micah was between the posts as Liverpool defeated Newcastle 6-1. Five different players were on the scoresheet as Liverpool made light work of their lower league opponents.
West Ham defeated London City Lionesses 4-1. Viviane Asseyi scored a brace while Manuela Pavi and Riko Ueki also added their names to the scoresheet. Katrina Gorry is unavailable for West Ham due to injury.
Leicester City defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 4-3 on penalties after they played out a scoreless draw in regulation time. It was a game of incredibly few chances as both teams rotated their regular side heavily. Courtney Nevin was an unused substitute for Leicester.
France
Lyon defeated Le Havre 3-0 to continue their dominant form in the league. Amel Majri, Eugénie Le Sommer and Vicki Bècho were the goalscorers for the defending champions. Ellie Carpenter was unavailable for her club side as she prepares for the upcoming international window.
A hattrick for Clara Matéo meant that Paris FC defeated Fleury 4-1. They are now outright third on the table. Sarah Hunter was unavailable for Paris FC.
Sweden
AIK Fotboll won the second leg of the relegation play-off 2-0 to ensure survival in the Damallsvenskan for another season. Beata Olsson and Haruna Tabata scored the all-important goals. Jada Whyman was unavailable for AIK due to injury, but certainly played her part in securing the points to avoid automatic relegation during the regular season.
Denmark
The poor form for FC Nordsjælland continued over the weekend, falling 2-1 to Aarhus. They remain in second after the result but a full six points behind Fortuna Hjørring. Winonah Heatley started and played the full match for Nordsjælland.
Netherlands
FC Twente narrowly defeated Feyenoord 3-2 in an important three points for the context of their season. Ella Peddemors, Jaimy Ravensbergen and Sophie Anna Maria te Brake were the goal scorers for Twente. Daniela Galic was an unused substitute.
Germany
TSG Hoffenheim eased past their second division opponents VfL Bochum 5-0 in the German Cup. Selina Cerci scored a brace as they advanced to the next round. Jamilla Rankin was an unused substitute.
