Elsewhere, Mary Fowler played a role in Manchester City's huge victory over Arsenal, while Leticia McKenna was a standout on starting debut for Nottingham Forest.

WSL
Chelsea jumped to second on the table with a 3-0 victory over London rivals West Ham. They dominated the stats, with the Hammers not even managing a shot, and managed to convert that superiority into goals. Ellie Carpenter played the full match at right-back.
London City Lionesses had a statement victory over Tottenham Hotspur, winning 6-1. They raced to a three-goal lead at half-time and did not let up after the break, the stars that they had assembled beginning to shine. Clare Hunt and Alanna Kennedy were both unavailable for their respective teams due to injury.
Everton defeated Birmingham City 2-1 to continue their solid start to the season. Ruby Mace was the hero, scoring a brace in midfield. Holly McNamara entered the field of play in the first half while Clare Wheeler was a second-half substitute for Everton.
Brighton & Hove Albion recovered from conceding early to blow Charlton Athletic away, winning 5-1. Kiko Seike was the standout, scoring a brace. Charlie Rule was unavailable for Brighton. Emily van Egmond and Leah Davidson both started in midfield for Charlton.
Manchester City came from behind twice to secure a massive three points against Arsenal. Lisa Baum and Alessia Russo were on the scoresheet for the Gunners, but a brace for Lauren Hemp, as well as a Kerstin Casparij stunner, helped seal the 4-2 victory for City. Mary Fowler was a second-half substitute for City. Kyra Cooney-Cross played the full match for Arsenal, completing 21/23 passes in the final third, while Caitlin Foord was substituted on just before half-time. Steph Catley was an unused substitute.
WSL2
Newcastle United continued their perfect start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Durham. Kaitlyn Torpey played the full game at left-back as she continues to play a central role in their success so far this campaign.
Nottingham Forest defeated Burnley 2-0 thanks to a brace for centre-forward Tuva Espas. Leticia McKenna played a key role in her first WSL2 start for the club, creating two big chances in her 78 minutes on the park. Alana Murphy played the full match just behind her in midfield.
Alexia Apostolakis and Bristol City completed the trifecta of CommBank Matildas winning the WSL2, with a 2-1 victory over Southampton. Apostolakis started and played the full match at right-back.
Sweden
Daniela Galic had a stormer of a game for Vittsjö GIK, scoring the first goal and assisting the second in their 2-0 victory over Eskilstuna United. Her goal was a fantastic headed finish from inside the penalty area and was her fourth goal in the last five games. The result means that Vittsjö head into the international break in sixth.

Malmö FF defeated Rosengård 1-0 to keep a five-point gap between themselves in third and fourth place. Amy Sayer and Charli Grant played the full game in the important win for Malmö, while Courtney Nevin was an unused substitute. Remy Siemsen and Isabel Gomez started for Rosengård, with Bryleeh Henry coming off the bench for the final 15 minutes of the game.
United States
The Portland Thorns were unable to overcome an early red card, falling 4-2 to the Boston Legacy. They kept themselves in the game with two second-half goals, but the weight of the extra player made itself felt as the match progressed. Mackenzie Arnold was in goal for the Thorns, who have now slipped to seventh with three regular season games remaining.
A stoppage-time equaliser for Angel City meant that the match with Gotham FC ended 1-1. Gotham head into the international break four points clear on top of the table with three games remaining. Sam Kerr played the full game for Gotham.
Germany
Eintracht Frankfurt fell agonisingly short against the defending champions Bayern Munich, an early goal consigning them to a 1-0 defeat. Despite the loss, there were ample signs that Frankfurt have what it takes to compete with the best this season. Hayley Raso started and played 57 minutes while Jamilla Rankin was an unused substitute.
Italy
AS Roma defeated Lazio 3-1 to make it two wins from two to start the new Serie A campaign. Winonah Heatley was an unused substitute for Roma.
Como fell 2-0 to a strong Inter. Alex Chidiac came on as a late second-half substitute for Como.
Canada
The Calgary Wild continued their positive run in the latter stages of the season, drawing 0-0 with Halifax Tides. Kahli Johnson was introduced as a substitute at half-time.
Vancouver Rise were defeated 2-1 by AFC Toronto after extra time. The game doubled as both an NSL regular season game and the quarter-final of the Canadian W Championship, hence needing 120 minutes to resolve. A goal in extra time to Kaylee Hunter was the difference in the end. Tori Tumeth played the full match in the heart of defence for the Rise.
Norway
Vålerenga drew 1-1 with Rosenborg to bring their winning run to a halt. It was a big result for Rosenborg, who remain three points ahead of them in third. Hana Lowry started and played the first half for Vålerenga.
