Women’s Super League

Arsenal host Tottenham Hotspur at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 11.30pm AEDT. Three points for the Gunners could see them leap above Manchester United in second, while Spurs are looking to finish the round in fifth. Much more importantly in a game like this, however, pride is on the line – and both teams will be desperate for the win in a game that means more than competition points.

Kyra Cooney-Cross, Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley will all be available for Arsenal. Meanwhile, in lilywhite, Hayley Raso, Charli Grant and Clare Hunt will oppose them.

Chelsea will take on Everton on Monday, 1am AEDT. Chelsea will be hoping to continue their undefeated season but Everton will know that there are areas in which they can exploit – if they get lucky. Sam Kerr is back in team training but still unavailable for Chelsea, while Clare Wheeler is unavailable for Everton and has been medically withdrawn from the upcoming international window.

Leicester City and Aston Villa clash on Monday, 2am AEDT. Three points for either side would be incredibly valuable to put themselves well beyond Crystal Palace in the relegation zone. Courtney Nevin will be available for the Foxes.

West Ham host Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday, 2am AEDT. Brighton will be hoping to regain the form that saw them start the season so strong, while a win for the Hammers could see them leapfrog Everton into eighth. Katrina Gorry will be available for West Ham.

Manchester City and Liverpool finish the round on Monday, 5.45am AEDT. City are in fourth – a remarkably low position by their standards – and will be hoping for three points to continue to put the pressure on those above them. Mary Fowler will be available for City while Teagan Micah is the player likely to be tasked with defending Liverpool’s net.

You can catch the WSL live and on demand on Optus Sport.

Women’s Championship

Birmingham City take on Sheffield United on Monday, 1am AEDT. On paper, Birmingham are strong favourites for this game but it is an important three points as they hope to stave off the challenges of the teams below them on the table. Emily van Egmond will be available for Birmingham.

Select Women’s Championship games, including Birmingham City against Sheffield United this weekend, are broadcast on the Barclays Women’s Championship YouTube Channel.

France

Lyon takes on Guingamp on Sunday, 3am AEDT. They remain seven points clear on top of the table and will be favourites to continue their undefeated league season so far. Ellie Carpenter will be available for Lyon.

Netherlands

FC Twente will contest the Round of 16 of the KNVB Women’s Cup when they take on Ajax on Sunday, 3am AEDT. It will be one of the tougher cup draws they could have received, but they will be hopeful to progress. Daniela Galic will be available for Twente.

Germany

TSG Hoffenheim host Leverkusen on Monday, 12am AEDT. After a massive cup victory against Wolfsburg midweek, which saw them progress to the semi-final – in which Jamilla Rankin started and played the full match – they have another tough match in the league. Rankin will be hoping to start again to help continue her side’s excellent form in 2025.

Sweden

Pre-season in Sweden continues this weekend as Kristianstads DFF take on FC Rosengard on Saturday, 11pm AEDT. Remy Siemsen will be available for Kristianstads.
