The Serie A Femminile season kicks off this weekend, with four CommBank Matildas getting ready to be involved. Elsewhere, it will be Aussie v Aussie as Vittsjö GIK host Kristianstads DFF in Sweden.

England
Round 5 of the WSL kicks off with a blockbuster top-of-the-table clash. Manchester United host Chelsea on Saturday, 4.30am AEST. Both teams are currently undefeated, with Chelsea having won four games from four, and United having won three from four. United may be in the best position yet to inflict Chelsea’s first WSL defeat since 2023/24. Ellie Carpenter and Sam Kerr will be available for Chelsea.
Manchester City take on Arsenal in another massive fixture on Saturday, 9pm AEST. Both teams have designs on challenging for the title and finishing in the top three, and a win for either will be key on that journey. Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley and Kyra Cooney-Cross will be available for Arsenal, while Mary Fowler is unavailable as she continues her ACL rehabilitation for City.
Leicester City and Everton will face off on Sunday, 9.55pm AEDT. Both have secured one win so far this season and will be looking for more to establish themselves in the midtable. Emily van Egmond is expected to line up for the Foxes, while Clare Wheeler is available for Everton.
West Ham takes on Aston Villa on Sunday, 9.55pm AEDT. The Hammers are still searching for their first point this season, while Villa are searching for their first win. Katrina Gorry will be available for West Ham.
Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue their fantastic form to start the season when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, 9.55pm AEDT. Spurs are currently in third with only one loss in the four games so far. Clare Hunt and Charli Grant will be available for Tottenham, while Charlie Rule is expected to line up for Brighton.
Finally, London City Lionesses take on a Liverpool side yet to secure a point this season on Sunday, 9.55pm AEDT. London City will feel like they are finally out of their tough draw to start the season and will hope to start turning their season around. Alanna Kennedy will be available for the Lionesses.

Sweden
AIK Fotboll have a tough match against Hammarby, 3am AEST. Hammarby are currently one point from the top of the table and will need a win to continue piling the pressure on BK Häcken, while AIK are comfortably midtable. Jada Whyman will be available in goals for AIK.
Vittsjö GIK host Kristianstads DFF on Saturday, 9pm AEST. With Malmö dropping points midweek, the door is ajar for Kristianstads to make a late run for a top-three place – but a win against Vittsjö will be essential. Daniela Galic will be available for the home side, while Amy Sayer and Remy Siemsen will be available for Kristianstads.

Last year’s runaway champions Rosengård find themselves in a real threat of relegation as they take on Malmö FF on Saturday, 9pm AEST. Rosengård are currently in 12th, in a relegation playoff place. Malmö, meanwhile, must win if they are to maintain a title challenge – they are now four points behind Häcken with six games remaining. Courtney Nevin will be available for Malmö.
United States
The North Carolina Courage have another massive game on the weekend, taking on Racing Louisville on Sunday, 10.30am AEDT. The Courage are currently in 9th, one point away from Louisville in 8th. With four games remaining, every point is crucial to make the top eight and compete in the playoffs. Cortnee Vine will be available for the Courage.
The Portland Thorns will hope to return to winning ways when they host Bay FC on Sunday, 1pm AEDT. A win for the Thorns could see them return to the top four – but, crucially, it would shore up their playoff position, which is far from guaranteed. Mackenzie Arnold and Kaitlyn Torpey will be available for the Thorns.

Italy
The Serie A Femminile kicks off this weekend.
AS Roma will look to shake off the disappointment of losing in the cup final when they host Parma on Saturday, 9.30pm AEST. Parma were promoted into the league last season and are a bit of a wild card, while Roma will be hoping to contend for the league title. Wini Heatley will be available for Roma.

Sassuolo hosts title favourites Juventus on Sunday, 3.30am AEDT. It will turn plenty of heads if Sassuolo can get the job done against a Juventus side who will go into the match as favourites. Jacynta Galabadaarachchi and Jessika Nash will be available for Sassuolo.
Como also starts the season at home, taking on Lazio on Sunday 9.30pm AEDT. Lazio go into the match as favourites, but it is an opportunity for Como to start the season strongly. Alex Chidiac will be available for Como.

Como 1907 travel to take on Frosinone on Saturday, 10pm AEST. Como are currently undefeated and will hope to continue their run and title chances with a win on the weekend. Chloe Berryhill will be available for Como.
Germany
Frauen-Bundesliga
Eintracht Frankfurt take on Carl Zeiss Jena on Saturday, 2.30am AEST. Frankfurt will be the favourites and will hope to get their league season back on track with a win. After starting in the cup last weekend, Hayley Raso will be hoping for her first start in the league this time out.
TSG Hoffenheim will travel to take on Hamburger SV on Tuesday, 3am AEST. Jamilla Rankin will be available for Hoffenheim.
2.Frauen-Bundesliga
Top-of-the-table SC Sand take on bottom-of-the-table Warbeyen on Sunday, 11pm AEDT. Sand will be hoping to keep their positive start to the season going with a win on Sunday. Alana Murphy will be available for Sand.
France
Lyon takes on Lens on Saturday, 3am AEST. Lyon are three wins from three to start the season and will be favourites to continue that trend on the weekend. Teagan Micah will be hoping to make her competitive debut for Lyon.
Mexico
CF Monterrey take on Vancouver Whitecaps in the CONCACAF W Champions Cup on Friday, 11am AEST. Monterrey will be hoping for a win to keep them in the running to finish top of the group. Emily Gielnik will be available for the match.
Canada
Calgary Wild take on AFC Toronto on Sunday, 6am AEDT. Calgary picked up an unexpected win last week and hopes to take that momentum with them into the latter stages of the season. Kahli Johnson has been building her minutes after recovering from injury and is expected to be available this weekend.
