The Women’s Champions League final takes place this weekend, on Sunday, 2am AEST. It is a meeting of arguably the two biggest clubs in women’s football, with Barcelona and Lyon facing off. Teagan Micah will be unavailable for Lyon due to ongoing symptoms of concussion. The game is streaming via Disney+.
Italy
The Italian Women’s Cup Final takes place on Monday, 2am AEST. AS Roma are hoping to do the double after winning the league title, but Juventus have already defeated them in two finals this season. Winonah Heatley will be available for Roma, and the team will be taking confidence into the tie after they lifted the Serie A title last weekend. The game is streaming via DAZN.
Sweden
Malmö FF look to turn their recent form around when they take on AIK Fotboll on Saturday, 9pm AEST. Malmö have lost their last two games after starting the season undefeated. Courtney Nevin and Amy Sayer will be available for Malmö.
FC Rosengård will hope to lift themselves from the bottom of the table when they take on Eskilstuna United on Saturday, 11pm AEST. Remy Siemsen will be available for Rosengård.
United States
The Portland Thorns defeated Bay FC midweek to go back to the summit of the NWSL table, winning 2-0. It was another clean sheet for Mackenzie Arnold, who continues her fantastic form to start the season.
They will take on the Kansas City Current on Monday, 3am AEST as they look to continue that form.
Canada
Calgary Wild take on Halifax Tides on Monday, 9am AEST. Kahli Johnson will be available as Calgary searches for their first win of the NSL season.
