Australia are set to face the UEFA Women's EURO Champions, England, tomorrow morning during the Alzheimer's Society International at Brentford Community Stadium as their final preparations for the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ continues.
Australia’s senior national women’s football team have not played against the reigning Women’s EURO Champions, England, since October 2018 when the match ended in a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage, Fulham.

Squad News
CommBank Matildas head coach Tony Gustavsson talked in the pre-match press conference about the squad rotation for the second game of the April FIFA International Window.
“We had two knocks in training yesterday, so I have two other question marks for the line-up tomorrow,” he explained.

“But what we said is, no matter who steps on the field, we need to stay true and loyal to our identity, and test ourselves. Even though we might be down the depth chart, we need to see where are we with our identity and our playing style.”
Emily van Egmond and Holly McNamara have been medically withdrawn from the squad for the game, with Leicester City forward Remy Siemsen has been called up as a replacement for McNamara with the 23-year-old joining the squad on Sunday morning. Siemsen has represented the CommBank Matildas on six occasions having made her debut in 2021.
Our Opponent
Sarina Wiegman has called up an experienced side, however, missing the centreback duo of Millie Bright and Alex Greenwood, with the two out through injury.
The side will face the reigning UEFA Women's Champions for the first time since 2018, with England coming into the fixture in scintillating form off the back of a 30-game undefeated streak and lifting the inaugural Women's Finalissima after defeating Brazil on penalties on Thursday night.
