The CommBank Matildas will take on New Zealand at polytec Stadium in Gosford on Friday, 28th November from 7:30pm (AEDT). We've got you covered with everything you need to know before the game with our matchday guide.

Gates open at 3:50pm for the event, ensure you head to the gate listed on your ticket for a seamless entry into the stadium.  

Check your tickets are saved to your phone or printed out prior to arriving at the stadium.

Baby changing facilities are located in all female toilets on Level 1 East and West.

Our fan zone will be located on Dane Drive, with face painters, DJs, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ trophy and activities, SportsHeads, Live Painter, Merchandise Van and the Qantas Mascots.

polytec Stadium is a cash-free venue. Please be aware of this when heading to the stadium and bring along an alternative payment method to purchase food and beverages.

🚌 Public Transport 🚊

The closest station to the stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. The stadium is a short walk from the station.  

Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.

Metro TrainBusLight Rail

The M1 Line operates turn-up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.

Change at Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford.

The closest station to polytec Stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From the station, the stadium is a short walk away via Showground Road and Dane Drive.

Planned trackwork is taking place on Friday 28 November, on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 9.50pm to 1.30am, trains do not stop at Wolli Creek, but make an extra stop at Arncliffe. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Arncliffe or Sydenham for a bus to Wolli Creek or change at Central for a T8 Airport train if you have luggage or accessibility needs. Some trains also make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: From 9.50pm to 1.30am, T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. T4 trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, and make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Change trains for City Circle stations.
  • South Coast Line: From 10.30pm to 1.30am, trains do not stop at Wolli Creek but make extra stops at Arncliffe and Sydenham. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Arncliffe or Sydenham for a bus to Wolli Creek, or change at Central for a T8 Airport train if you have luggage or accessibility needs.

Route buses 19, 21, 22, 23, 64 and 67 run towards Central Coast Stadium and stop near the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

At Central, change to a Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). At Central, change to a Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford.

🅿️ Parking 🅿️

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as fans travel to the match in the busy evening peak. Allow extra travel time and use local parking. 

Dane Drive will be closed from 3pm between the Central Coast Highway and Donnison Street for crowd safety, and will reopen once crowds have cleared the area. 

Several car parks are located within easy walking distance from polytec Stadium:  

  • Baker Street Car Park (P1) is approximately 100m away. 
  • Free parking is available 300m away at Gosford Train Station (P2).
  • Central Coast Leagues Club provides free parking for members (P3).
