AFC Womenβs Player of the Year
Holly McNamara has received back-to-back nominations for the AFC Women's Player of the Year, after a sensational season for Melbourne City, helping the side to the domestic double, claiming the golden boot, Player of the Match in the Grand Final, and leading the goalscoring tally for City in the AFC Womenβs Champions League 2025/26β’ to help the side to the semi-finals.
The striker's scintillating form saw her rewarded with a first-ever overseas move, signing with Everton for the upcoming 2026/27 Women's Super League season. McNamara's time in the A-League Women saw her claim three Premiership titles with City and a Grand Final win in 2026.
She is nominated alongside DPR Korea's Kim Kyong Yong and Korea Republic's Kim Hye-ri.

Alanna Kennedy and Caitlin Foord have been nominated for the AFC Asian International Player of the Year. Kennedy shone at the recent AFC Womenβs Asian Cup Australia 2026β’, being named Most Valuable Player after scoring five goals to help her side to the Final.
