Australia kicks off their FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ against debutants the Republic of Ireland on Thursday, 20 July (8:00 pm AEST), with over 80,000 fans set to pack into Stadium Australia for the match.
Tony Gustavsson's side will play their opening match against tournament debutants, with the Republic of Ireland playing in their first major tournament.
