Ellie Carpenter named in the Division 1 Féminine Team of the Season

Ellie Carpenter has been named in the Division 1 Féminine Team of the Season for the second consecutive season with Olympique Lyonnais.

The defender, off the back of winning her second UWCL title, has been named alongside three of her Lyon teammates in Christiane Endler, Wendie Renard and Selma Bacha.

Carpenter, who sadly tore her ACL in the UWCL Final, has been named in the Division 1 Féminine Team of the Season for her second consecutive season as Lyon have had an unbeaten run in the D1 season so far, with only two games remaining.

Lyon look primed to take out the Division 1 Féminine Championship, after Paris Saint-Germain F.C. dethroned them last season, however, Olympique Lyonnais remain five points clear of PSG in the title race.
