Daniela Galic signs for Vittsjö GIK in the OBOS Damallsvenskan

Daniela Galic signs for Vittsjö GIK in the OBOS Damallsvenskan, making the move from FC Twente and signing a two-year contract with the Swedish side.

The midfielder joins Vittsjö after spending the last season with FC Twente in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, lifting the treble with the side. Galic will join Vittsjö immediately and will begin training with the team on Monday, ahead of the season resuming at the start of August.

Vittsjö GIK currently sit in 8th place on the table, and will hoping the signing of Galic will be able to help them move up the table within the European spots. 

Galic joins the long list of Australians who have played for Vittsjö GIK, with Katrina Gorry, Clare Polkinghorne, Charli Grant and Emily Gielnik all recently playing for the club.

Vittsjö GIK will next be in action when the break finishes, taking on Piteå IF on the 10th of August at 9:00pm AEST.
