Courtney Nevin has made the move to Sweden, signing with Malmö FF in the OBOS Damallsvenskan after spending the last two and a half years in the Women's Super League with Leicester City.
Nevin signs with Malmö FF on a three-year contract for the upcoming season, making the move back to Sweden after spending the 2022 season with Hammarby Fotboll, then going on loan and signing a permanent deal with the Foxes in England.

"I'm very happy to be here. It seems like a fantastic club, and I was really happy when they showed interest and wanted me. I already love this stadium and the sky blue colour, it looks so nice. I've gotten to feel the pitch a little and it feels really nice. I'm really looking forward to playing here." Nevin said in her first interview with the club.
"Damallsvenskan is truly a top league that develops many good players. For me, it's about continuing to develop as a player and getting as much out of it as possible. Sweden is a fantastic country for that, with a strong league."
Nevin made 53 appearances across all competitions for Leicester, nominated for April WSL Player of the Month during the 2022/23 season after picking up three assists across two games.
"I feel very privileged to have experienced so much in football, and I look forward to bringing that experience here to Malmö and hopefully being able to help the team. I have played in the Swedish league before, so I know a bit about it. But at the same time I think it has changed since I was last here, it has really developed. To come back and see it is really fun."
Malmö currently sit in third place in the 2025 season at the midway point, and if they remain in the top three will qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League for next season.
The season returns next weekend when Malmö FF take on FC Rosengård on Saturday, 9th August at 2am AEST.
