Caitlin Foord was named Player of the Match as Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1. Foord made two key passes and five successful dribbles as she helped her side come from behind to pick up the three points. Steph Catley and Kyra Cooney-Cross also started for the Gunners in only their second win of the season. Clare Hunt remains unavailable for Spurs with a knee injury.
Brighton & Hove Albion were comprehensive 3-0 victors over West Ham. Charlie Rule remains unavailable for the Seagulls due to injury.
Crystal Palace took the lead in the first half, but Chelsea were too strong in the end, finishing the game 3-1 victors. Ellie Carpenter played the full match for Chelsea, making two key passes and having six progressive carries.
London City Lionesses drew 2-2 with Liverpool. Alanna Kennedy remains unavailable for the Lionesses due to injury.
Holly McNamara scored her first goal for Everton, but it wasn’t enough to prevent defeat, falling 3-2 to Aston Villa. Villa took a three-goal lead early in the first half and, while Everton were able to reel it back, they weren’t quite able to pick up the third goal they needed for a point. McNamara started and played the full game for the Toffees, while Clare Wheeler was a second-half substitute who helped turn the game around.
Birmingham City defeated Charlton Athletic 1-0 as Charlton still search for their first WSL points of the season. Both Emily van Egmond and Leah Davidson started for Charlton.
Manchester United became the first team to take points off their rivals Manchester City this season, with the game ending 1-1. Mary Fowler picked up the assist for City’s goal early in the second half before a late equaliser saw the points shared. Fowler started before being substituted off not long after the goal.
WSL2
A Leticia McKenna brace saw Nottingham Forest take the first points off Newcastle United this season, with the game ending with two goals apiece. McKenna scored from a tight angle early, assisted by Alana Murphy, then converted a penalty to give Forest an early lead. Newcastle fought back in the second half to leave with a point. Murphy and McKenna started for Forest while Kaitlyn Torpey played the full match for Newcastle.
Bristol City defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-2. Alexia Apostolakis played the whole game as Bristol jumped to fourth on the table, with three wins from six games.
Sweden
Amy Sayer picked up an assist for the first goal as Malmö FF defeated Kristianstad DFF 2-1. Charli Grant played the full game, while Courtney Nevin was an unused substitute. The result means that Malmö only need two points from their final three games to secure European football next season.
Vittsjö GIK were defeated 2-0 by Piteå IF. Results elsewhere, however, mean that Vittsjö will need only one point from their final three games to guarantee safety from relegation. Daniela Galic started and played the full game.
FC Rosengård suffered a dual blow, defeated 2-0 by AIK, and results elsewhere have them back level on points with Norrköping and the relegation playoff spot. All three of Remy Siemsen, Izzy Gomez and Bryleeh Henry started for Rosengård in the defeat.
United States
Mackenzie Arnold helped her side keep a clean sheet as the Portland Thorns defeated the North Carolina Courage 1-0. The win means that the Thorns have secured a play-off place with one game remaining.
Gotham FC, meanwhile, are clinging onto top spot after a 2-1 victory over Orlando Pride. They will require a win on the final day of the season to take out the Shield. Sam Kerr played the full game up top for Gotham.
Germany
Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Stuttgart 3-0 as they went four points clear in third. A second-half red card for Stuttgart changed the game, and Frankfurt were able to capitalise, putting the game out of reach late in the match. Hayley Raso and Jamilla Rankin were both second-half substitutes for Frankfurt.
Italy
AS Roma made a statement in the league, the defending champions defeating Juventus 5-2. Winonah Heatley was an unused substitute for Roma.
Como played out a scoreless draw with Lazio. Alex Chidiac started up top for Como as they remain seventh on the table, with five points from their first four games.
Canada
The Vancouver Rise were triumphant over the Calgary Wild in the final game of the regular season, winning 3-2. Tori Tumeth was instrumental to the victory, making an astonishing 17 clearances at the back to help keep her side in the lead. The Rise will now have to wait for other results to see if they finish in the top four. Kahli Johnson started for Calgary.
Norway
Vålerenga fell 1-0 to top-of-the-table Brann. The result means that they are now four points away from third with two games of the regular season remaining. Hana Lowry started for Vålerenga.
