The Central Coast Mariners will be high on confidence as they host a Canberra United side playing their first game of the season.
The Mariners are full of bright young talent, but perhaps will be concerned with the goals they conceded last week. If Morgan Aquino can begin to show the form that she did the last time she was in the A-League Women, that will go some way to helping them to the clean sheets they need.
Canberra will once again be spearheaded by stalwart Michelle Heyman, who continues to set goal-scoring records. It will be fascinating to see how they perform after having the bye in week one.

Perth Glory are once again on the road in week two, this time travelling to Adelaide to take on the Reds on Saturday.
They got what they needed from round one, picking up an impressive three points against the Newcastle Jets. Head Coach Stephen Peters said that he has already seen growth within his group and they'll hope they can show all of that on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Adelaide were a mixed bag in their draw against Sydney FC, but will hope to tighten up and walk away with the points. Ilona Melegh will be in goals for the home side.

One of the great rivalries of the A-League Women reignites this weekend, with the added bonus of Cortnee Vine taking on her old club for the first time.
Sydney FC was the team in which Vine made her name, and her form for the Sky Blues was the reason she was selected in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 squad. Now, for City, she'll be hoping to help the side improve after last week's performance as they look to defend their Premiership and Championship double from last season. Jessika Nash will also be available for City.
With both sides missing players to injury and CommBank Junior Matildas duties, it will be a fascinating contest that will give insight into both sides this season.
