CommBank Matildas forward Bryleeh Henry has signed her first overseas contract, making the move from the reigning Champions, Melbourne City, to Swedish side FC Rosengård, signing a two-year contract.
Henry made the move to Sweden after helping Melbourne City to the domestic double in the 2025/26 season, with City picking up the premiership and the championship.
Henry joins a contingent of Australians plying their trade in the Swedish league and will be the third Australian to sign for FC Rosengård this season, with Remy Siemsen joining them at the start of the season and Isabel Gomez putting pen to paper on her first overseas deal just last week.
Rosengård currently sits just outside the relegation zone after 11 games of the season, picking up two wins so far this season, and will be aiming to get back to their best, which saw them claim the title in 2024.
The forward, although often deployed as a wingback this season for Melbourne City, made her senior CommBank Matildas debut back in October 2021 against Brazil alongside her new teammate, Siemsen.
Henry went on to represent Australia at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2022™, scoring a goal against the hosts, Costa Rica, in Australia's 3-1 win.
The forward has made six appearances for Australia since her debut in 2021. She scored her first senior goal for Australia against Chinese Taipei in December 2024 in a 3-1 victory.
